Spending Christmas and my birthday here perhaps was the best decision. From the traditional foods to the picturesque Danube River, the Paris of the East never let me down. Lucky to have a friend play host and a home-cooked meal too! All in all Budapest was peaceful, beautiful and inspiring. A gem.
